So here we are on New Years Eve again. This time of year is traditionally a time for reflection, planning for the year ahead and making resolutions. I am no different.
This past few weeks I have had a great time away in Feurteventura and back home in Blackpool over Christmas. I have had more fun than I have all year and it is down to putting time aside for myself, not worrying about work and not being too serious.
I have decided to carry this on into the New Year. Don’t get me wrong, I am not going to give up my work and live in a field. But I am going to make sure that I am doing the things I want to do. I am going to make things happen.
For too long I have been “waiting” for situations to be better before I pursue what I really want to do (more on this in another post). Next year I am going to go for it head on.
Life is too short.
To all readers of this journal of mine – I hope you had a fantastic Christmas, have a Great NYE and I hope for the best for you in the New Year.
