Caught Entering an Adult Shop by Google Maps
Published July 5th, 2007 in google, internet, maps.So Google have started adding “360 streetside views” to the popular Google Maps service, allowing you to see exactly what the street looks like. And all kinds of other stuff…
Unfortunately this poor guy got caught entering an adult shop… (this image may well dissapear from Google Maps soon).
And is this guy breaking into a house?
It appears to be US only at the moment but I can’t wait for global coverage. All paranoid privacy issues and funny sightings aside, being able to see the street which a hotel is on in full detail will be so … futuristic!
Futuristic but in a kinda scary George Orwell Big Brother sense! Not sure how I feel about it…
