The Long Journey

Whilst renewing my Car Insurance this week I found the website QuidCo on the Money Saving Expert forums.

Basically, QuidCo gives you a link to the website you want to get a service from and by doing so QuidCo earn a commission. Once they receive the commission they pass it on to you, taking only £5 per year admin fee (from the commission money) for doing so.

In my case I created an account on QuidCo, clicked a link to Direct Line, signed up for my Car Insurance and I will now be due £65 (minus £5 admin fee) in a few weeks.

If this does go through as expected it will be excellent as this can be done with all kinds of online retailers. I will keep you posted as to the results…
