For those who have a life, #FF0000 is hex code for red and #800080 is hex code for violet (perhaps that should be blue?). “All my base are belong to you” is a twist on the badly translated quote from the video game Zero Wing. The original quote is “All your base are belong to us”
you got your hex all wrong. red is FF0000, blue is 0000FF and 800080 is purple.
Yeh your right, I got the red wrong - violets are 800080 though (or more likely EE82EE according to Wikipedia).
But then again the original poem says “violets are blue” so perhaps it should be the hex for blue.
